Mariah Carey Admits She Fires Nannies All the Time

Nannies are obviously a dire need for every mom who is in the Hollywood industry due to their overly active lifestyle.

Nevertheless, as for one of America’s top U.S. Billboard hit makers, Maria Carey, firing nannies is as easy as snapping her finger.

“Unfortunately, I have to have nannies but I’m very hands-on. I fire nannies like this (snapping her finger in the air),” she said during one of her recent radio interviews.

“I hate doing it but I have to, because if they try to make themselves more important in the babies' minds than me," she added.

Well, at least she made a quick turn when she made it clear that she’s does not enjoy firing nannies.

In the past few months, rumors have it that the diva has been regularly firing her twin’s nannies.

Fortunately for them, in honor of their service, it’s likely a bittersweet farewell somehow since rumors also have it that there’s always a good severance package behind their termination.

Mariah got married with Nick Cannon in 2008 and now the couple has two-year old twins named Moroccan and Monroe, whom the nannies take care of.

Meanwhile, in many other cases, nannies and other household employees are often aggravated, harassed and deprived of rightful compensations due to lack of extensive labor laws that protect them.

However, in Mariah’s case, if she indeed never misses to provide her nannies with generous severance packages upon their termination, that is something that other employers should probably look into.
